Coronavirus Impact on This Year's ACCUPLACER Conference
In light of growing concern about travel due to the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), we have made the difficult decision to cancel the College Board ACCUPLACER National Conference scheduled for June 24–26 in Las Vegas, Nev. We made this decision with the health and safety of our members, students, attendees and staff as our top priorities.
All registration fees will be refunded via the initial form of payment.
As immediate next steps, please:
- TRAVEL: Reach out to your airline carrier to cancel all reservations related to the conference. The College Board will not be responsible for any travel or out-of-pocket expenses.
- HOTEL: If you booked in the block at Flamingo Las Vegas, your reservation will be automatically canceled. If you booked outside of the ACCUPLACER conference block, you will be responsible for canceling your reservation and be subject to the hotel’s refund policies.
The goals of ACCUPLACER are central to the College Board mission and our work to support students from all backgrounds. We're exploring future opportunities to share the content from scheduled sessions via alternative formats, including virtual learning. We'll feature this content at future College Board convenings, including the annual Forum scheduled for October 26–28 in Las Vegas, Nev.
We appreciate your patience as we address this difficult situation. We’ll post any additional updates on our website.
As we monitor the spread of the coronavirus and receive further guidance from public health organizations, we'll provide timely updates if new developments affect any of our other upcoming conferences. Our focus is on the health and safety of our members, students, attendees, and staff.
