New! During our 2021 conference we will recognize three professionals for outstanding work to promote equitable placement policies at the K12, higher education and higher education System Levels.
ACCUPLACER is pleased to announce our new National Equity Awards, created to recognize outstanding work done to promote equitable placement policies across the nation and around the world. Educators from around the world have been working tirelessly to combat the access and equity issues that were exacerbated by the coronavirus pandemic. So, beginning with our 2021 conference, we will take pause to recognize the efforts taken in our communities and to present this award to three professionals, one each at the K12, higher education and higher education system levels.
Recipients must embody the College Board’s mission of connecting students to college success and opportunity and have data to show how their efforts have raised awareness of inequities and closed or significantly lessened access and or equity gaps at their place of work, whether it be at the K12, higher education or higher education system level. If you have made such strides or are aware of a colleague who has done so, please take a minute to nominate yourself or them for this award. Nominations are due by February 26, 2021.
Please read the rubric for further details.
